This period in the spotlight: Inge Oey-Go and Yolanda Spaans

Inge Oey-Go
Inge Oey-Go is an artist connected to the Kunstsuper. Graduated in Textile design and working for a long time as a fashion designer and teacher, the link to the tangibility of textile is always present in her work. In the Kunstsuper she mainly presents reliefs of kite paper on canvas.
The 3D “Almost Delft Blue” paper series is inspired and based on the typical Delft Blue tiles. In addition, the Kunstsuper collection also contains its collages of kite paper on canvas, in which the various semi-transparent layers tempt the viewer to discover new details again and again.
In her own studio she is currently working on 3D Paper Art, Wall hangings painted with Asian calligraphy ink and Watercolors.

Yolanda Spaans
Self-taught Yolanda Spaans has been working as a ceramicist for more than six years. The endless possibilities of clay give her the space to let her creativity run wild. The making process is one of trial and error, intuition and above all pure passion. Her handmade creations are inspired by everyday life and reflect her love for the ceramic process.
